The Portuguese Assay Office provides two modalities of Safe Transportation of Work, leading the mark that makes a difference to you with all safety and convenience.
The Safe Transportation Service (STS) is one of the modalities of the work safe transportation service provided by the Assay Office, ensuring the transportation (collection and delivery) of articles, for the performance of Assaying and Marking services.

Send an email message to contrasteseguro@incm.pt with the delivery note filled in, as attachment, until 4 p.m. the previous day.
Cost
Transportation:
32 € per transport
Additional costs provided for in the price list:
- Work received in the absence of the operator
- Packaging/unpacking (where applicable)
- Packaging of work for dispatch (where applicable)
Conditions
This service applies to shipments up to 15 kg.
For each package weighing more than 15 kg, an additional fee of 5 € is charged.
It implies the affixing by the Assay Office of the Sponsor’s Mark on all batches and hiring the express service as regards requests from Braga and very urgent services in requests from Aveiro and Coimbra.
The Declared Value Transport Service (Serviço de Transporte de Valor Declarado – STVD) is one of the modalities of safe transportation service of work provided by the Assay Office that ensures the delivery of items after completion of Assaying and Marking services.

How to request the Service
By means of a delivery note or by email (contrasteseguro@incm.pt) ticking the declared value of the items
Cost
Transportation: Depending on the weight and declared value of work (Example: To ship 5 batches with 20 pieces in silver with a total weight of 200 grams, the shipping cost would be approximately 8.10 €)
Additional costs provided for in the price list:

- Packaging/unpacking (where applicable)
- Packaging of work for dispatch (where applicable)
Conditions
- This service applies to shipments weighing not more than 2 kg and whose declared value is lower than 5000€.
- Either by email or using a delivery note, the person responsible for the reception of work must be indicated. The Mail Service (CTT) will only deliver the ready work to that person. If the designated person is not available at the indicated address, the work will be returned to the nearest CTT station and only the person designated when the service was requested will be able to pick it up.
