PICK & GO – Transport between the Assay Office and the Customs of Porto
With the Pick & Go service, the Portuguese Assay Office supports its customers in the process of customs clearance, one of the main challenges faced by economic operators.
The Pick & Go service — for the moment available only for imports via Porto airport — transfers to the Assay Office part of the responsibilities that would be incumbent on the customer, eliminating the need for travel to Customs or to our counters, providing a faster customs process and, as such, a smaller lead time.
In addition, by including in a package several activities previously charged individually, it makes it possible to offer a more attractive price for this “turnkey” service.
Pick & Go Service streamlines the process of customs clearance of the work imported via Customs of Porto.

There are three main circumstances of work entry via the Customs:
1 — Only for assaying service of imported articles and/or components — unofficial but mandatory service
2 — Only for assaying and marking service (A &M) — official and mandatory service
3 — A mix of both situations in the same import

| Na importação de obra que contém ambas as necessidades a cobrança do serviço pela Contrastaria efetuar-se-á de acordo com a situação 1 e 2, respetivamente, com exceção do serviço de transporte seguro, o qual já está incluído na situação 1. |

Cost
The cost of Pick &Go is calculated per batch for the assaying of articles and/or components, as a unique value, per package, comprising several services, regardless of the right of use (or not) of all of them, according to the following table:
