ASSAY OFFICE PRESENT! MEETING WITH APIO
On July 24, the Assay Office met with the Portuguese Association of the Jewelry Industry (APIO) as part of a series of meetings between the Assay Office and the Associations of the sector.
Several topics were addressed in order to better understand the difficulties and expectations of APIO and its associates.
One of the topics discussed was industrial licensing. In this regard, it was established that the Assay Office will contact the competent authorities with a view to simplifying access by economic actors to this activity.
A tour was also agreed to companies and premises of some manufacturers in the jewelry industry to be held in Lisbon later this year.
The share of experiences and proximity to the various actors of the sector is a design and purpose of the Portuguese Assay Office. Only this way will it be possible to value and implement the certification mark.
